Double-sided placemat in fluid-resistant fabric, with a story that celebrates culture, territory, and abundance.
On one side, the palenquera: she is not just a vendor, she is memory in motion. Her cultural roots connect to San Basilio de Palenque, a territory recognized for the richness of its social, medical, religious, musical, and oral traditions. On the street, in the square, or along trade routes, the palenquera represents everyday sovereignty: turning food into sustenance, identity, and storytelling.
On the other, the fruits: a celebration of the richness of the tropics. We live in a privileged territory where the diversity of climates allows for a unique abundance of flavors, colors, and shapes. Each fruit is a reminder of that natural generosity and how fortunate we are to inhabit a place where the land gives so much, almost all year round.
A design that connects culture and nature, inviting us to recognize, enjoy, and be grateful for what reaches our table.
